Things you’ve learned from AMA:

TU-AMA has given me an opportunity to learn an abundance of things that will be useful in my career. Since day one of being a member, I have never left a meeting without having gained new knowledge to aid in my future. I have learned a multitude of tips and tricks that have helped me get an internship, such as building a strong resume, creating a linked in profile, as well as interview prep. I have also gotten the chance to get real hands on work, through Cherry Consulting, that has given me more practice in designing a website and creating graphics. Additionally, I have been able to gain connections with working professionals through weekly speaker sessions and events like CIR. TU-AMA has given me so many helpful experiences that I will take with me throughout my future marketing career.

What do you plan to do in the future and how has AMA impacted this?

Before joining AMA I was not sure what I wanted to do with my future. I joined this organization hoping that it would help give me some ideas of careers I would be interested in, and it has done just that. I hope to get a marketing job in the beauty or healthcare industry and I would like to end up in New York or Boston after I graduate. Through TU-AMA I have been able to listen to our weekly speakers describe to us their day-to-day and tell us all about their company. By attending these speaker sessions I have been able to decide what industries excite me most and what I would enjoy doing with my future career.
