Year in School:

Things you’ve learned from AMA:

Throughout my college career, I have learned a variety of skills from TU-AMA that assist me both in my everyday life, as well as my professional career. Participating in the multiple opportunities TU-AMA provides, I have developed my networking, communication, time management, interviewing, LinkedIn and resume-creation skills. Additionally, I have had great opportunities to be a part of Case Competitions and many Cherry Consulting projects that have taught me so much about consulting, client relations, content planning and creation and market research/strategies. Also, TU-AMA’s Friday Speaker Sessions have always offered something valuable about a new position, industry, or company. These opportunities have been so rewarding and are beneficial to my current and future goals.

What do you plan to do in the future and how has AMA impacted this?

I’m interested in the intersection of marketing and ethical data practices/analysis that will benefit organizations and their customers. I find consumer strategy, insight and behavior really interesting and continue to learn about the ways in which it can have a very strong impact on companies. In the future, I look forward to opportunities to travel, meet new people and make a difference. TU-AMA has impacted me in my professional journey because I have had many opportunities to network with real business professionals, as well as learn about different positions and industries. Additionally, I have learned a great deal from TU-AMA alumni and other members, resulting in valuable and memorable experiences.
