What have you learned from AMA?
TU-AMA has helped me grow both personally and professionally by providing me with the resources to gain real world connections and experience within the marketing field. Weekly speaker sessions and workshops have helped me solidify my interests and network with industry professionals. My time on the Case Team rewarded me with ample knowledge on public speaking and creative strategy as well as confidence in my abilities as a marketer. I continue to learn more every day from our dedicated members, advisors, and my peers on the executive board.
What area of marketing are you most interested in and why?
I currently am pursuing a minor in event management and would love to work in sports or travel marketing so I can bring my passion for event planning to on site activations. My internship with Insomnia Cookies also introduced me to food marketing, which is definitely a growing segment that I’ve really enjoyed learning about and would love to continue with.
What is your favorite TU-AMA memory?
My favorite TU-AMA memory is winning the case competition my sophomore year and getting the opportunity to present our campaign at the International Collegiate Conference. It was an incredibly rewarding moment and the culmination of many months of hard work that I am grateful I got to celebrate with my TU-AMA family!
