Year in School:
Project Management Intern at Publicis Health, Executive Board Director: Media Relations for TU-AMA, Project Manager for Spencers Plate, and Associate Project Manager for Fason De Viv
What have you learned from AMA?
I started attending AMA meetings as a sophomore and ever since then, I have completely immersed myself in the endless opportunities this organization has offered. In the fall semester of 2021, I was an associate project manager within Cherry Consulting and by spring semester I was the leading project manager for my group executing all weekly meetings. Once my time as a project leader ended I became the Director of Media Relations where I led various campaigns across multiple platforms, expanded member's knowledge of graphic design tools by hosting workshops, and designed graphics for committees and events.
What area of marketing are you most interested in and why?
I absolutely love healthcare marketing and pharmaceutical sales which my internship only solidified further. AMA has brought corporate professionals from a plethora of different industries which allows members to explore many possible career options. After attending speaker sessions, insurance, banking, and technology companies are all areas of interest I would like to pursue in the near future.
What is your favorite TU-AMA memory?
Our chapter had the opportunity to attend AMA’s International Collegiate Conference in New Orleans as a host chapter! This experience turned colleagues into friends and was a true bonding experience for the executive board and members who were able to attend. It was truly an unforgettable part of my undergrad!!
