April 13th Professional Development Trip

On April 13th, 2018 TU-AMA took 15 members to New York City to tour and visit offices from Facebook, GIPHY, and Horizon Media. Here, students had the chance to pick the brains of Kate Warburton a media designer at Facebook,  Jake Walker – a sales team member, Isaiah Lawrence – the operations manager, and other professionals from the content creation team, and original founders from GIPHY, and Strategist, Account Managers, and Recruiters from Horizon Media that included previous TU-AMA President, Alex Brannan. Members had the opportunity to network with these industry professionals see the environment and culture in which they operate in.
