Year in School:
I have applied my marketing skill sets over the past three years in various areas of business including; sales, data entry, event planning, branding, and more. Most recently, I interned with MakeOffices in Philadelphia, as a Community Manager Intern. Here, I learned about the sales process within the commercial real estate and co-working industries. I also applied my event planning and marketing strategy skills to help build, manage, and care for a community of business leaders.
Things you’ve learned from AMA:
AMA has shown me the many different avenues I could take in my professional career after college. This organization has provided me with the many tools needed to be a well-rounded student professional who is trying to carve a path for his future career in marketing. I have learned how to work together on a team, and to give back to an organization, student body, and a university as a whole. The most important lesson this organization has taught me is the importance of networking. This lesson has taught me to step out of my comfort zone and create partnerships, to work together, and to push everyone to be the best that they can be at every stage in life.
What you’d like to do in your career:
Post-graduation, I would like to pursue a career in the co-working industry and work my way up the corporate ladder to be an executive of the company. I would also like to explore my own business ventures sometime during my life, and obtain my MBA.
