I have worked as a barista, ever since high school, and working in smaller entrepreneurial settings like these really sparked my interest in business and marketing. I have experience as a market research intern for a digital B2B marketing agency, Altitude Marketing, as well as experience in social media marketing and campaign management for multiple nonprofits.

What have you learned from AMA?
AMA has provided me with a deeper insight into the many avenues that a career in marketing can evolve into. Not only have I interacted with professionals in a variety of industries, but it has taught me how to network, ask the right questions, and grow important technical and personal skills to pursue opportunities with these companies.
What area of marketing are you most interested in and why?
I enjoy learning about both the analytical and creative aspects of marketing; such as how marketing tactics influence consumer decision-making behavior. The building and management of brands that have a focus on sustainability is interesting to me across all industries, especially fashion and events/experiential marketing. I am also interested in the financial strategy needed to sustain and scale marketing efforts.

What is your favorite TU-AMA memory?
My favorite memory is the annual water pong tournament we host each fall. My mentee and I placed second as the unexpected underdog, and it is one of my favorite social events to get to connect with new and returning members!
