Temple University American Marketing Association (TU-AMA) joined Habitat for Humanity at their Kensington Warehouse! This past weekend, on November 7th, six TU-AMA members safely volunteered alongside Habitat for Humanity. Volunteers unloaded shipments of doors and windows into the warehouse.
Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places we call home. They believe in affordable housing’s critical role in strong and stable communities. As part of their current project, homes are being built and assembled in Philadelphia. The doors and windows which TU-AMA members unloaded will be used to build these homes.
We are proud of our TU-AMA members for working as a team and lifting heavy items on Saturday morning. Our time with Habitat for Humanity is just beginning and we hope to continue to make a positive impact in the Habitat community!
