Douglas Oliver, Vice President of Communications at PECO, visited TU-AMA on October 26, 2019. Douglas spoke about the importance of things like adaptability and versatility in the workplace. He emphasized how crucial it is to be aware of other sectors of business, besides Marketing, in order to stay up to date and do well in your job. Douglas also talked about developing and maintaining your professional network. He mentioned that the key is to be ‘sticky’ and keep up with individuals in your circle. Based on his experience, Douglas urged students to establish relationships, which are going to help make an impact on projects completed post-graduation.
