United By Blue Speaker Session

On October 15, 2018, Mike Cangi, Co-Founder of United By Blue spoke to TU-AMA students. Mike, a Temple Alum, told the story of starting United By Blue and staying true to the company’s mission throughout the years. He spoke about the way his company removes 1 pound of trash for every product sold and well as uses organic cotton and recycled polyester to make its product. Mike emphasized United By Blue’s current focus on E-commerce and how the company is striving to not just sell product but creating a community that people enjoy spending time in. He also explained the importance of customer lifetime value and how United By Blue uses customer data to inform its marketing strategy decisions.
