Membership Monday: Bridie Anne MacCrory

Our AMAzing member in the spotlight this week is Bridie Anne MacCrory! Bridie Anne is a Junior Marketing major, Management Information Systems minor within the Fox School of Business and a new TU-AMA member. Uniquely, she was born on St. Patrick’s Day and is currently in the process of getting her Irish Dual Citizenship! Apart from AMA, she also is on the Temple Irish dance team and has recently become the Founding President of Delta Delta Delta. Currently, she is looking forward to starting her new internship at AmerisourceBergen focusing on Customer Experience and Insights!

Although this is her first year in AMA, she has loved getting as involved as possible! She joined Cherry Consulting, focusing her efforts on the Navigating Addiction team. So far, she has been working on a Media Kit and a pitch presentation to potential investors. Additionally, Bridie Anne has joined the Chapter Communications team and is looking forward to learning more about website creation and helping with website updates in the future.

As an AMA member, she has taken full advantage of networking and exploring Marketing at speaker sessions and building her skills by attending workshops! To help with her success, AMA has provided so many opportunities with speaker sessions and professionals from different industries that have helped her discover different routes to take post-graduation.

This past summer, Bridie Anne studied abroad at University College Dublin where she had the opportunity to intern at William Fry, a leading law firm in Dublin, Ireland. At William Fry, she did everything from website redesign, creating an Instagram account and managing social media analytics to working with their CRM system of clients and partners. She learned a great amount and was able to get invaluable hands-on experience while enjoying all that Ireland has to offer!

She also had the chance to intern with one of her favorite teams, the Philadelphia Eagles, as a Digital Asset Management Intern. Within this position, she tagged photos during games as they came in and put all of the metadata behind them. This is crucial for their Social Media team to be able to look up any specific image or video to add to hype content or to send to different news outlets. Bridie Anne also worked on their archiving project by digitizing old photos and conducting research to find more about the Eagles players. Her favorite part of her internship, aside from seeing players in the lunchroom and going to the exclusive Christmas party, was being able to test the Wifi in the stadium before games and piloting their Augmented Reality project!

Keep killin’ it Bridie Anne, you’re doing AMAzing! #FlyEaglesFly
